There's just a lot going on at the moment. My to-do list is long. The task reminders that keep popping up on my desktop (and that I keep snoozing) are BEGGING for my attention. And tomorrow? Tomorrow (well, after a few hours of work), I just don't care. Period. Don't care. I'm taking actual days off and NOT WORKING. Yeah, right. But, I'm really truly going to mostly take time away from the computer. I need it. Mostly because my pupils are squaring at the edges (in reflection of the monitor). And my neck/back is caught in a constant state of "tweaked" from sitting at this desk. It is time for a break.
Luckily, though, I've been meeting with lots of success lately at work. Things are pretty good. The various projects I've got going are hits so far, and even in cases where I'm not killing myself, I'm scoring extra points with the powers that be. And when that's the case, I actually enjoy my job. :) Well... not enough to make me work during a purely-fun weekend!!!
Anyway, I'm going to Carolina tomorrow... and this time, it's not only in my mind! Time to circle the holy site... and deepen my devotion. Whenever your memory feeds my soul, whatever got broken becomes whole. Anyway, Carolina tomorrow... yay! Melanie and I are heading out at about 3, driving the 6 hours to CH (well, Durham), bunking in the Quinta, and heading to campus (the best campus in the world!) on Saturday morning. I can't wait. Can you tell I'm excited?! By the way, pics are required this year... so, just get the idea in your head already so you don't get annoyed with me.
Well... I should get back to work so I can wrap this up & get to bed soon! It's nearing bedtime for sure. More re: Carolina (from Carolina) later, I'm sure. :)
