There's a sound in my house at this moment. As I sit here and try to decide what I can entertain you with tonight/tomorrow, I'm being entertained (conventional meaning stretched just a tad for what I'm really feeling about this sound) at the moment by a subtle, yet strong, eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. What do you call an eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee? Is it a buzz... not really, a buzz definitely has more of a zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz quality. A beep? Again, don't think so. A beeeeeeeeeeep (even a long one has more of a hard beginning and end. This is just an eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. It starts softly, subtly... one might think to oneself, "is that really a noise I'm hearing or are my ears just ringing?"... but it doesn't stop & after a while, you're positive it's an eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee that will drive you to drink.
Oh wait! It's quite possible that it's stopped! Phew... now I can actually get back to what I was planning to say tonight. Oh shoot... stupid eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... it took my post plan with it.
Just one more thought, then, and it's "scamper off to bed" time for me:
