I really wish one of you would come cut my dogs' nails. I just hate to do it. First of all, the first time we tried, Kona bled a little. And I don't like that at all. Plus, my little screamer won't even let us get within a foot of his nails with the clippers. Just take a look!
So... how 'bout them Heels? I'm assuming most of y'all were watching tonight. Anyone else just KNOW that VTech was going to do something to tie it up or win it at the end? Whew... that was close. I'm so glad they won; I just love this team. Despite the fact that they're consistently starting slow nowadays. Tyler is my hero. And Bobby... my new fave Tar Heel point guard (except, of course, for King Rice).
Okay, I'm out of stuff to write about... so I'll just post some pics. For all y'all who enjoy 'em as much as I do.
How sweet is he? Oh, my little Cooper. Doesn't he have just the sweetest little face?!?!?!?! Now, if he would just be this sweet all the time. It's so funny... one minute an angel, the next a little demon. It's kinda like those two little guys on my shoulders... :-)
Here's half of the demon story. Although, this time, it looks like Kona's the aggressor. Don't let the face on her fool you; I'm sure Coop started it.
Here's Coop doing his favorite thing in the world... chewing the stuffing out of any plush toy. This is Squirrel (as referenced in another post), a Christmas present from Hales. It's amazing... there is one whole foot on Squirrel, and I happened to get it in this pic! Opossum, on the other hand, has suffered a fatal blow to his side. I sewed him up once, but Coop just reopened the wound within the first five minutes of having him back as his playmate. Opossum is taking a rest at the moment on the countertop. (Please don't tell Coop OR Kona that they can actually jump up there.)
Look at her... how could you not love her? OH WAIT, that's right. She has bad gas when she lays like this! But the eyes... just make you forget sometime.
The rule of holes... if you find yourself in one, stop digging. Just a little funny from my buddy Mike Patrick.

What a coincidence! I wrote down that "holes" quote after hearing it from the ballgame last night for the purpose of sharing it with my students. I am always comparing their bad choices of not doing their work (thus taking 0's) to digging holes that will be hard to climb out of. Of course, I got so busy in class today that I actually forgot to share it, but I still plan to. By the way, did you ever "want" to take a 0 rather than do an assignment? Kids amaze me today. They simply don't recognize that there are consequences (good and bad) for their decisions.
I forgot to say who I was, but I suppose you know that it is your mom. I am enjoying your blog. I look for an entry every day, and miss it when there isn't one. I love you guys, even the hellions with the long nails.
