My sister is my favorite friend! Those of you who know her understand. She's just the sweetest, best little sister ever. And she sent me this picture this morning, so I figured it was a good opportunity to post it. It was taken just as Mom, Dad, & Haley were leaving after their last visit to Statesboro in September. We kinda have a tradition to have breakfast/brunch at the IHOP before they leave, so this is in the IHOP parking lot. (Don't tell Jon how many times we actually went to IHOP, though.)
Also, FYI - Haley now has a blog (http://unckisses.blogspot.com). I like to take credit for it, especially since I'm sure she'll be better at blogging than I am.
Finally, I do have to admit... I just today finished putting together our Christmas/New Year's cards. I have to apologize to all of you who are going to receive them (and get word of this blog via the update letter). I really, really, really had the best of intentions this year. In fact, Jon & I composed the letter in late November! But, time sure flies when you're having fun. We were in Ashe County for a week over the Christmas holiday and just completely failed to finish addressing/writing the cards. So, once again, I messed up. Sorry, everyone! Maybe all of you should call me just as soon as you start working on your cards next year. That way, I'll get all your phone calls (yay, me!) and I'll get lots of little hints from all of you organized people to get our cards out!!!
