I’m disgustingly sweaty after my daily run… but that’s somewhat fitting since this post is (kind of) about running.
My very, very, very good friends Mike & Jess – being the incredible people that they are – are do-good’ing again. They’ve created a team to participate in Charlotte’s Race for the Cure. The team (Harold’s Angels) is in honor of Mike’s Uncle Harold (yes, UNCLE… breast cancer can happen to anyone) who was diagnosed with breast cancer in early June. Of course, you don’t need me to tell you… it’s a VERY WORTHY CAUSE. So, get involved:
- Check out their blog about the team: Harold’s Angels @ Blogspot
- Get up off the sofa & go run (or walk) with them on October 7! Register at Active.com
- Sponsor the “Angels” by sending ‘em some cash
- Don’t want to participate? Just can’t spare the cash? Well… at the very least, send them your most positive thoughts & best wishes. Leave a comment for them (and Uncle Harold)… yes, it can be anonymous, you silly don’t-want-to-be-known people!... at the Harold’s Angels page.
