I jotted down that "title" earlier in the evening (and to give proper credit where credit is due, the phrase/sentence/blog post title actually should be attributed to Me-maw). Mom was cute. She read it over my shoulder and got a kick out of the double meaning. I LOVE ALL THINGS WITH DOUBLE (or triple or quadruple or...) MEANING. Me-maw said "that's what they call a full house" to Granny, explaining her latest Yahtzee roll to her. Me-maw and I have been teaching Gran to play Yahtzee. Granny had never even HEARD of the game!!! Jake/Lis -- can you imagine life without Yahtzee?!?! Anyway, Gran was having out-of-this-world beginner Yahtzee luck. On her score card (which holds, what, 6 games?), she had THREE check marks!!! (A check mark denotes a 2nd/3rd/4th Yahtzee roll in one game.) I don't think I've EVER had a check mark. And Granny had three in six games. That Granny's pretty lucky! The whole gaggle of us played last night... all six of us. And everyone was amazed & enthralled by Gran's ability to roll whatever she needed. Her luck ran out tonight, though. She came in last place in 2 different games.
Anyway, the double meaning... also clearly refers to the "full house" Jon & I have had for the last few days @ Forsythe. I've loved it, though. I thoroughly enjoy company! (Hint, hint, hint, hint, hint... five times... for added WEIGHT!) And to have M&D plus Gran & Me-maw was very special. They've talked for a year about making that trip, so I'm thrilled that they actually got the opportunity to do it! So thrilled, in fact, that I showed off my take-a-picture-of-myself skills (of course, utilizing the timer on Mom's cheap-o digicam) to take a shot (or two) of the whole gang prior to our trip to SAV yesterday AM.
I'll save most of the other pics for another day, but I liked this one. And you know when I like a pic, you cannot escape it! (insert evil laugh)
The fam will head back to NC tomorrow morning. I reckon we'll have to cry a little, but hopefully we can make Haley proud with very few tears shed. Tears or no tears, you just have to know, I miss you like CRAZY when you're not with me.
Much love & many hugs/kisses on the last night of this visit.
